Red Sox director of amateur scouting Devin Pearson - who worked alongside Paul Toboni, then replaced him as the person in charge of the Sox drafts from 2023-25 - has been hired as assistant GM of the Nationals. The Sox are expected to replace Pearson internally. www.bostonglobe.com/2025/10/14/s...

Connor Wong had surgery today, the Red Sox announced: right hand carpal boss excision.

A carpal boss is a bony lump/outgrowth on the back of the hand.

And Carlos Narvaez had his right knee meniscus surgery yesterday.
