For iPhone users kipclip.com uses an iOS Shortcut you can install from the Tools page. Actual iOS app is coming but in the meantime this actually works pretty well.
While kipclip.com does not have any fancy browser extensions yet it does have ancient bookmarklet technology. It may not be pretty but it still works!
@nickthesick.com found a bit of time pre-flight to fix the editing. you can now edit all the fields. have fun! 😉
I didn’t have time and tomorrow I’m off on holiday so just keep bookmarking and we’ll have to tidy things up later 🌴
There’s some stuff that’s just hard to fix though. For instance password managers not recognizing the oauth server domain is a big drop off point. You have to be pretty invested to not give up along the way which is too bad. These are things that have to improve network wide.

Pebble is officially back on iOS and Android! Download it now, works with all old and new Pebbles.

Incredible that everything's still working just as well as before. Can you say that about any other tech product you bought 13 years ago??

leaflet-search.catabush.com, a tool for discovering new @leaflet.pub publications, is now updating regularly!
I was bored last night so I built a tool for searching @leaflet.pub articles: leaflet-search.catabush.com. Currently built on a cache of over 800 articles from active publications, and will be updating daily to bring in new articles (as soon as I finish that part).
Definitely like comments, threading in Bsky mentions would be cool. Maybe there should be a toggle to turn off comments though. You might not always want opinions.

Off-topic: on Safari iOS when I tap the comments button for a leaflet nothing happens? Also with blockers turned off.
I like how big that list is getting ❤️
nope 😅 I should really learn to do more testing before I throw my experiments on main. I'll see if I can fix that tonight. thanks for the heads up!
Trying to get my wife to use kipclip.com is a good reminder that just slapping atproto oauth on there might seem cool but is way too frustrating to use for normal people still. And she already has a bsky account, never mind people who've not heard about bluesky yet. Good goal for v2 to improve on!

Save and organize your bookmarks on the AT Protocol. Bookmark from anywhere with our bookmarklet, iOS shortcut, or PWA.
kipclip.com
It's a bit finicky on mobile web honestly so I recommend the desktop version for now. After my holiday I'll invest some time in an iOS app, still both should work and it's good to have options.
Introducing kipclip.com, the friendliest way to save bookmarks on atproto 🐔 This first version works on the web and features a simple bookmarklet (for desktop) or iOS shortcut or Android sharesheet option, once you save it to your homescreen (for mobile). Uses the community lexicon for bookmarks!
woohoo, very happy to hear that. file your feature requests or bug reports in GitHub please ✌️
And since stuff saved to your PDS is not private, keep in mind that these bookmarks will be essentially public too. As soon as atproto supports private records kipclip.com will be able to support this as well 🔐
Like bookmarks the list of available tags is also saved to your PDS as atproto records but since there is no community lexicon for this it used a custom com.kipclip.tag record for those. All that is saved to the appview is your session data.
Full iOS app, with sharesheet support, is coming once the web version is nice and feature stable 🍏
The best thing is, if you're reading this you already have an account! And since it uses a community lexicon when you ever want to use another (atproto based) bookmarks app the chances that it uses the same records are quite big, so all your bookmarks will be right there saved to your own account ❤️

Ah in Claude and Claude code you can install additional deps from npm, pypi, etc just not in Claude api support.claude.com/en/articles/...

I thought I read you could just install anything on pypi? That can compile of course. But there is a whitelist of some sort then?
Yeah I worry about that a lot. I try to replicate my projects between Anthropic and OpenAI where I can but it’s a losing game the better the underlying learning setup becomes. Just exporting md files won’t cut it anymore at some point
