In a new paper, we provide fresh evidence on the macroeconomic effects of public investment in 27 EU member states. We find that public investment has favorable effects on output and unemployment; doesn't crowd out private investment; and doesn't jeopardise debt sustainability.

They want the civic spaces and cultural predictability of the pre-internet world. They want European trade hegemony that they don't have to think about; prices to go back to 2019; rents to go back to the 90s; interest rates back around 0; Insurance rates that dont factor in climate change
