It’s not utopian to demand that in a world with this kind of technology, that as a moral demand, a society feed, clothe & house its people. Everyone across biomedicine should be very loud about this so this team's RIF status gets reversed. Nhanes has been key for tracking obesity & diabetes rates, identifying high blood lead levels in kids in the 70s, tracking progress on cholesterol lowering, guiding nutrient fortification programs etc

At the other end of music of this year is Good Kid 4, the 4th(ish?) EP from Good Kid who only makes incredible garage beach vibe songs. Summer is a bop, and their cover of Laufey's From The Start is absurd when played back to back with the original.

I'm seriously wondering if the Romy's aesthetic made people not click in. Like, there's so much tonal dissonance between the audio and visual here. Like, this song gives Lana Del Rey Born to Die album vibes but you'd never know by the thumbo which reads like Manson.

It's crazy that my two favorite artists i've stumbled upon this year are Good Kid and DeathbyRomy. DeathbyRomy feels like something I should have seen plastered on r/popheads but she's been skipped over. Hollywood Forever is a great album in concept and execution.

Based on the video shared by Univision (they've paired it with overhead from ABC), today's attack might be the most chemical gas we've seen feds launch into a neighborhood so far. The clouds are enormous/that's a lot of canisters. Completely engulfing cars and homes.
