The nice thing about curating my own music collection rather than paying money to the music streaming overlords is that I can pay actual money to support fellow independent artists in return for their wonderful work. Looking forward to getting this album on for a road trip on Sunday.

I started planning the album with vinyl in mind, so there are two ‘sides’ to the album: ‘Move On’ and ‘Hold On', and it follows that the working title has been ‘Move On / Hold On’. I’m hoping to get this one out before Christmas, so fingers crossed 🤞

Album update: I *think* I’ve settled on the track order for the new album. The songs are complete structurally, I just need to crack on with finishing the tracking. The cover design is a work in progress (this is the kind of thing I have in mind for the back)…

I genuinely had no idea, before chatting with her, that courtroom artists are not actually allowed to sketch inside the courtroom in Britain. If they do, it's contempt. They also aren't guaranteed a seat in the courtroom, and their pics are often hurriedly drawn from memory on the kerb outside...
