I'm setting out my stall for 2025. I'm actively looking for freelance opportunities around:

🎶 writing music to picture;
🎧 providing production services for audio podcasters;
🎸 music collaborations.

If you'd like to have a virtual cuppa and a chat it would be wonderful to say hello.
The nice thing about curating my own music collection rather than paying money to the music streaming overlords is that I can pay actual money to support fellow independent artists in return for their wonderful work. Looking forward to getting this album on for a road trip on Sunday.
I have a present for you: to celebrate 6 months of my album “House Of Stories” being in the world...

Had a a fun time spent in lovely company pairing Hamhaugh Hops beer and Totally Tangerine Cookery's delicious food. Was delighted to be invited along in my local podcast / newsletter capacity (if you don't know about it 👉 thesheppertonian.uk )
😂 each to their own. I bung some kefir in, no milk.
I’ve recently switched to a home made smoothie and feel much better for it.

It's a worry, but this might be the way we survive for a while. If you value a creator (or magazine) subscribe to them. You're helping to make them uncancellable and to keep their voice in the world. Anything dependent on advertising is vulnerable. (No Patreon here, go subscribe to someone you like)
This is a good time to remind you that if you love the shows and podcasts you watch and listen to, if you have the capacity to do so, support them on Patreon.

A recurring $5 a month Patreon or Ko-Fi pledge is the equivalent of you watching over 350 ads on behalf of your favorite creator.
I expected YouTube to gaslight all of the creators out there and I'm *still* disappointed.
Congrats! It's a wonderful show (with a brilliant soundtrack from the amazing @alexharwood.bsky.social) 🎶🐮🐶
I started planning the album with vinyl in mind, so there are two ‘sides’ to the album: ‘Move On’ and ‘Hold On', and it follows that the working title has been ‘Move On / Hold On’. I’m hoping to get this one out before Christmas, so fingers crossed 🤞
Album update: I *think* I’ve settled on the track order for the new album. The songs are complete structurally, I just need to crack on with finishing the tracking. The cover design is a work in progress (this is the kind of thing I have in mind for the back)…

I genuinely had no idea, before chatting with her, that courtroom artists are not actually allowed to sketch inside the courtroom in Britain. If they do, it's contempt. They also aren't guaranteed a seat in the courtroom, and their pics are often hurriedly drawn from memory on the kerb outside...

I’ve never felt so disheartened. My small business means everything to me and I want to keep going.
Please have a look at my website. Buy things, commission me or repost.

Thank you.
If I’m being honest, I’m feeling pretty crap about my small business.

It’s so bloody difficult at the moment with rising costs, US tariffs, Brexit nonsense and the threat of AI.

Please have a look at what I do and repost to spread the word gailmyerscough.co.uk
Good to hear - it’s on the watch list 🙌
Shepperton’s a lovely place to live. Not sure what they based their findings on. Maybe it was the temporary traffic lights 🧐
For some reason I got it twice, so maybe they sent me yours by mistake.
