I love discovering an artist known for one type of work does something really wonderful in a whole 'nother area. To his point, I'v been all too willing to believe the story being told, the character being presented.

I learned very young that "he who smelt it, dealt it" LOL, as in the person most concerned that someone was cheating was most likely a person who would cheat.

I've also learned to avoid thos progams. I'd rather beg or steal; at least I have some control over my life.

Audits won't help. The rich hire accountants for how well they know the loopholes and I have fewer holes in my colander than the rich have for protecting the cash.

Major overhaul of tax codes, preferably by the not wealthy.

History tells us that the ONLY people that have ever fought back have been the poor. We only choose not to fight until our children are dying from lack of food or shelter. Not blaming the poor, but we can't even hope that those who are comfortable will take care of us if they feel any risk at all.

I was just recalling that this morning. Tdid that in the US until the 80s. Opening medicine cabinets, looking under the bed, checking the fridge, looking for evidence of men & expensive food. They stopped this when they decided they didn't want to pay social workers & then didn't have the personnel.

We're all pretty terrified as we discover we've never been in control. It's an opportunity moment as we learn new ways to be. Be kind to yourself in order be kind to those still learning.

If you're raging at others, please take a deep breath and be kind; just walk away if your buttons get pushed.

This is so confusing, like one of those logic problems: if a liar is calling another person a liar are they lying? If the liar calls another liar a liar is the first liar telling the truth? I hat those puzzles.
