A couple of things I'd encourage.
1. Don't engage with people trolling, arguing, or just being rude.

2. Don't follow everyone you come across. Curate your feed so it's friends.

3. Be excellent to each other.

As someone that actively avoids movies he's in (which, admittedly, isn't hard) I do not understand how he gets cast in anything.

All I've ever heard is he's a nightmare to work with.
And that's not even including the many SA allegations

The older I get, the more I see a lack of imagination in the world.
So, so many people are incapable of it.

I've been surrounded by creatives most of my life, so I didn't realize how widespread it was till a few years ago.

understand the idea of letting someone not pay a mortgage payment for 1 month, and then adding that 1 month to the end of their mortgage with zero penalty.

To be clear, they weren't arguing with me about it, they literally couldn't understand it.
Any word combo I used was nonsense to them.

Every so often I have a conversation with someone who literally can't conceive of the concept I am talking about.

Had one today I can't get into but reminds me of the time I talked to a banker about mortgages during the pandemic.
PM said he wanted banks to offer skip months and 1 banker could not

Corporate comics are a cycle, so I don't think they ever finish their story so much as readers hit a point in the cycle where it's time for them to step away.

Least that's how I feel about it.
