It was in another era. I barely remember a lot of it. But he was definitely a major influence on how I look at the world. Still is. I wish more in Pakistan were influenced by him the current generation doesn’t even know about him
Equal Sahab was the foremost decolonisation scholar of our time. The Pakistani Edward Said who he knew personally. I had the honour meeting him and speaking to him many times. Extremely humble person. There is no one who can replace him.
