4 ur amusement: as a non-native I pick up most words by seeing them written (in SFF books...). My vocabulary is ample w/ a perceived mispronounciation quota of 50%. I'm always in denial 4 several days when I learn of a new glaring mistake. Latest example: malevolent.
I thought it was male-woe-lent 😱
