Yesssss!! Me too. I’ve waited nearly 40 years for tonight & if you ever get a chance to see this on a big screen (if you haven’t!), I highly recommend it. It plays so well!!!

Thank you! It’s from Fright-Rags!!!

Exhausted and feeling defeated by life but I’m about to see SILVER BULLET on the big screen for the first time ever. So happy I feel like crying lol

Holy crap, this is bananas…I cannot believe you’d still be dealing with this. I’m so sorry.

I just worked on something from Amber and it was STELLAR so I would highly recommend working with her if you can.

A bill that I budgeted for is unexpectedly going to be a couple of hundred pounds more. Not ideal right before the most expensive time of year, so if any labels need an essay/audio commentary doing before 2025 ends please hmu 🫠🫠🫠🫠

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

It’s going up $150 a month…we can’t do anything about it because we’re stuck so I guess this gives us a year to try & figure things out because I can’t do this already & another huge hike next December is totally out of the question. I’m fucking bummed. 😞

Last night I had the great honor of hosting the world Re-Premiere of Gary Sherman’s ‘39’, a self produced horror movie so disturbing Gary buried it for 20 years after its Fantasia premiere. Severin Films is putting it out shortly for the rest of you to finally see. It’s pretty fucking great.

Just talked with my landlord’s assistant who said that our new lease is coming later today but that “nothing will change for November and the new lease will begin for December” which means things are definitely changing & now I’m nervous af. (At least there were protections for rent increases in CA)

Fun announcement!

I was lucky enough to get to contribute essays to these two gorgeous Hammer releases for THE HORROR OF FRANKENSTEIN and SCARS OF DRACULA for StudioCanal— Hammer has been a love/obsession of mine for quite sometime and this is an absolute dream come true!
StudioCanal 4K release of THE HORROR OF FRANKENSTEIN featuring red and green artwork of the monster as it looms amidst the brush. StudioCanal 4K release of SCARS OF DRACULA featuring red-hued artwork of Dracula descending on his unsuspecting prey.

Today's installment in my 31-day essay series on John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN is about the illusion of middle class domestic calm in Haddonfield, how Tommy Doyle sees through it, and how Laurie Strode gets swept up in it just as the knife's about to come down.
