Well, now that I'm finally not sick, I was able to finish this.
I was feeling the urge to draw a new Dragoness lady.
I took an old design from a Kobold character and reworked her into this.
This is Novus Ortus, Dark Dragon of the Light.
I quite like how fierce she looks.

I think I've drawn enough shortstacks for the time being.
As fun as they are to draw, I've been meaning to draw a more normally proportioned character for a while now.
I was in a scalie mood for once, so it was time to make a new Dragoness for myself.
I was looking at some of my older designs and stumbled across an old Kobold character named Lumine Lightfoot.
Her design was very solid, so I wanted to expand upon this by turning her into a full-fledged dragon.
This time, I made sure to give her actual clothes to wear, as well as redesigning her head into something more interesting.
This new design was inspired by both axolotls and orcas, so she has a bit of an aquatic, semi amphibian feel to her, yet still looking like a dragon.
I gave her a new name of Novus Ortus, something a little more powerful and fierce for her new more powerful design.
For her clothing, I wanted it to be eye-catching, so I used red and added a little bit of Asian influence to it.
Green decoration and blue sashes were used in order to break up the colors.
To show off more of her holy power, I have a divine yet corrupted looking halo appearing behind Novus, with her more blackened umbral skin rising with smaller tentacles.
I'm overall really happy with this piece.
It feels nice to draw a scalie again, as well as having it be a rather lovely Dragoness.
