Counterpoint: Anduril Industries has been able to move very fast (by acquiring companies that have already done the hard work over many years and then repurposing their products into something inferior to their competitors' products e.g. General Atomics but at a higher price than e.g. Raytheon)

As we see in the US, correct? 77M Americans voted for a tyrant whom we knew would greatly diminish human flourishing & freedom. They believed the lies, they didn't have an accurate model of reality, and they voted for him freely. As their suffering worsens, many of them will blame anyone but Trump.

We don't need to "defend democracy." Democracy is not a thing we desire for its own sake. We simply believe that it promotes the thing we *do* care about, which is the well-being of citizens. But in many places, such as the US, democracy is just a veneer of consent overtop the real power structure.

I was hiring. It was hard to hire people for a variety of reasons, so I raised wages significantly. It was an employee's market.

Things are very different now. Too much uncertainty.

This is Michael Cohen, once Trump's attorney, who went to prison for various various Trump-related things. He helped bribe Stormy Daniels and he lied to congress.

He would have kept helping Trump if he hadn't been caught. Now he's just pissed that he can't commit crimes with Trump anymore.

We are in a recession, by the way. A bad one. Prices are way up. People can't find jobs.

I am plugged into this in a very real way. The stock market is just not important unless you are in the top 10%/1%.

I have not seen a labor market this bad since 2008. The 2nd Great Depression is coming.

I just don't know if this whole dictator thing is going to work out. The economy is in a recession and people are struggling. They might have moved too fast. Vance could totally do the whole "war with Venezuela" thing in 2028 and wait until then to cancel elections.
