Number 20 Shambles, York was built in the mid 18th century, with two rooms to each floor and a central staircase. The shop window was probably added in the 19th century. The shop is now part of Hebdens Tea.

Bryce Canyon was one of my favorite places when I went on my trip with my parents. Oh, so cool! I don't know if I can do this place justice with just a blue pen, but I tried. Maybe tomorrow I'll add the spire next to these. #oseiarts

photograph from Bryce Canyon. The top layer of the stone here is a lighter hue, indicating the stronger stone that was deposited there. Below is orangey sandstone (I think), which erodes easily. The result of this over time has made a bunch of natural pillars out of the rock as the sediment beside the stronger deposits erodes away first, like fingers clustered pointing to the sky. It's very cool.

You know, I really love that movie. When I was a kid, I was so annoyed that they never showed the giant squid but now, I really like the tension that not seeing it creates 😬🦑

I understand that not everyone could upgrade from PS4 to PS5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S but damn, not drawing a clear line in the sand and moving forward instead of insisting on releasing versions of games for older hardware really held this current generation back.
