So we’ve been getting fed Liberty University commercials on hulu live and it kind of sounds like Tim Tebow is the voiceover and he’s saying “we” and “us” and it’s weird?

That did seem to change, though, after 9/11. Seemed like the GOP had more of a need for foot soldiers and die hards. In law school, though, FedSoc was always filled with true believers and they could code switch between Chamber types or the hoi polloi racists.

The actual people who ended up in GOP politics were more likely to be rich fraternity or sorority kids, who had parents to bankroll a few years on the Hill or in the state capitol and who would never be caught dead at a College Republican event.

I have a strange take on “were college republicans nazis back then?” When I was at UGA, the College Republicans didn’t seem like nazis. Because they were dorks. Nerdy dudes who wore suits to poli-sci classes. And they weren’t going anywhere politically either.
