Unfortunately, this left me feeling disappointed.

There were interesting ideas that weren't explored to their fullest, leaving a vast majority of the season feeling shallow.

I don't think Gunn works well with attention split between projects.

I'm excited for fresh direction with Lanterns next!

10) Peacemaker S2 (2025)

I think the first half of the season suffered from that reveal being so late in the season, but after that point, the episodes got a lot better. The first season was definitely better with a tighter script. I think it's fair to criticise Gunn on his treatment of women.

1) Superman
2) Creature Commandos
3) Peacemaker S2

That's my ranking.

I used a guide to clear up 6 remaining achievements from hidden Moon Ancestors immediately after beating the game.

Cocoon offered the right level of challenge consistently and always effectively taught me the skills I would need to solve future puzzles.

A must-play for anyone else who has struggled to find a puzzle game that suits them!

32) Cocoon (2023)

A game with this nesting mechanic could have been a lot more confusing.

Cocoon has the absolute best difficulty curve of any puzzle game I've played in the past few years (though maybe in contention with Portal or Portal 2)!

At no point did I use a guide to beat the main game!
The game cover art is on the left, with statistics to its right. I started this on 9th October 2025. I played for about 4 hours and earned all 17 achievements. This photo was generated by TrueAchievements.

11) Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: The Flash (2018)

Glad I saved this for a crash.

It's been years since I last watched a LEGO DC film (or, at least, it feels like it). It's fantastic to be reminded that this truly is my happy place.

Day 11: Hero

I always have this shot from Quantum Break in my head when I listen to Locking up the Sun by Poets of the Fall.

74) Green Lantern: Dark (2024-2025)

It lost me. Stopped reading after issue 5.

Look forward to hearing more thoughts, presumably on The Rewind!

If you want to do the same, here are the 2 photos I found.

Turns out, Rick Burroughs' Alan Wake novelisation is another book I've read from here!

Really loved this video!

There's a lot discussed here that tugs at the main thing that I did like about the current season of Peacemaker.

But also a whole lot more! Watching Gunn's work through those lenses is very interesting.

With #Peacemaker wrapping this week, it's a good time to look at what makes James Gunn such a distinctive superhero filmmaker.

How Gunn puts himself in his work, how "Superman" & "Peacemaker" are about the internet, and what Gunn gets about superheroes as a genre.

73) Heart of Darkness (1899)

Joseph Conrad

This marks the first of several books in Sam Lake's library that I have now read.

I struggled to get into this, partly due to the structure or language used. I enjoyed the vocal performance by Kenneth Branagh, though I did slow the speed down at times.

Day 6: Dive

Beyond the lake I called home, lay a deeper darker ocean green.

This is my dive through Remedy's multimedia... so far!

Made a few mistakes. 😢
