It's been a while since I had any updates on the game. Finally got around to building a title screen and got this cool fade effect working.  

I went with the title "Sol Survivor" someone suggested. I don't remember who it was but thanks for that! :> I think it fits perfectly

You're not understanding me. I never decided that this is how I want to act, it was the only thing that worked for 18 years and became the only thing I knew. That's what trauma is

I don't want to project infallibility and I obviously don't believe I am infallible. But growing up set the brain out of whack and now "people only like you for excellence, so dont let them see mistakes at all costs" and "If I talk about problems, they'll think it's sympathy farming" are hard wired

It's not a projection I want/decided on, it's one that resulted from always hearing "suck it up," "nobody cares," or "you're just being an attention whore" at school, while desperately trying to hide any flaw or mistake from my parents because my dad wanted to show everyone he had a perfect son

Or like, maybe we could work through childhood trauma better if the US finally realized mental health is important, and it didnt cost $1000 per word to talk to a therapist and maybe insurance could try helping a little bit idk

I'm scared to talk about my problems and I can't accept fault, which means I project myself as infallible

So the moment something goes wrong, I disappoint people who have the fake view of me that I gave them

It's so hard to unlearn this shit and I hope it's not too late.
Maybe saying it is a start
