Fusion energy is interesting tech, but i still think its odd we are trying to create an artificial sun, when we have a real one, right here, every single day, no maintenance, no development costs, and safe..er. if you ignore the UV radiation part. www.globaltimes.cn/page/202510/...

A record 29% — nearly a third! — of all new cars purchased in California during July, August, and September were zero-emission vehicles.

DC may be fine with selling out American innovation to China, but California will keep charging ahead toward cleaner air for our communities.

Our local provider at the time of install was essential energy. They would allow max 5kw of inverters to export. We have 20kw of inverters ao were ineligible to export or we pay negative prices during the day. So we opted to just not have a grid export connection

We have a small dam that when time and $$ allow we want to make into a natural pool creek setup. So sort of a mini hydro system. At moment the solar makes just enough to keep everything happy. Battery drains to about 80% overnight so doesn’t take long in the morning to top up.
sydneyev.bsky.social
yep, not at moment, waiting on new energy provider to swap us to new plan, and we also need electrician to activate the grid connection. we were intially only grid connected as a last resort backup, as feed in tarrif was not worth it, and in many cases would be paying to export.

happy with our Nuclear fusion radiation chart today. 880w/m2, sadly the batteries are full by 9 am, the cars are full, and the tool and machine batteries. so much of this free energy is wasted. (no feed in) and some will argue #solar cant provide enough.....

most trucking is logging trucks going into town, and the trucks heading out with finished timber products. other than that, most is local and tourist traffic
