Bluesky censored the Ophelia sculpture... so I suggest a Google. It's stunning. Bernhardt was a ridiculously talented sculpture.

Also really interested in this essay a quick Google pulled up about the complicated mythology of Ophelia that exists in culture and outside of Shakespeare.

Finally watched Fate of Ophelia mv (lovely!) and was like huh... is that stage play showgirl a Sarah Bernhardt reference? Cause that would be really interesting. Not just bc one of the most famous theater actresses played Ophelia, but she also sculpted Ophelia. A real Renaissance woman.
