Words I got introduced to yesterday: pyrothorax. It’s where an animal inhales an irritant and it crosses through an alveola into the pleural sac. Where it causes havoc. So I think today’s debate is whether someone goes to Glasgow for a research hospital to play hunt the irritant

It isn’t that much. Why wasn’t it insurance covered? She had to be admitted as I am not allowed to run IVs into animals.

Last time it did this (says he sounding like the Day After Tomorrow) there was a Northern Hemisphere Ice Age. The models are v hard to work and track as it is a significant change

It is slowing - appreciably. It was a remote possibility of collapse but new studies have come out going "it's a probability and sooner than you think"

If the AMOC tip, it isn't just us - its part of the global heat transfer current - so if it goes, the whole lot goes
