I wanted to call out that part about collaring. I really appreciate how this novel treats D/s, especially how it contrasts a consensual Master/slave relationship with an abusive relationship. It made me tear up several times because of how loving the Dom is in this book while still being a sadist.

The book is Taken By Touch and Torment by Maggie Sunseri. The second in a duet that I recommend if you like vampire romance. Check your triggers because it is very dark.
