Extremely terrible

I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot.

The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.
Twitter account: Uncensored @HmanQuotes1945: Official border patrol Facebook page is posting with the banned lyrics of Michael Jackson's song.
"Jew me sue me... Kick me k*ke me."
Epic

still working this out! rn 22 students are divided into two groups. I collect one group's notebooks, grade and comment, then return. Probably each student submits every other week, and I have a pile of 11 every week?
susielaurie.bsky.social
The notebooks are also a channel of communication bw me and each student.

They don't like handwriting, and I don't love reading it. But there's been no LLM submissions yet.

Gotcha! Yeah that would be tough to implement right now. This semester I'm trying something a colleague in English does. Students each have a composition notebook. All their writing (some in class, some at home) is handwritten in the notebook. I collect, comment, grade.

Can you clarify what you mean by "enough resources to write while engaging w the texts"?

that's exactly where we were a few years ago--using an old, clunky, and in our case home-grown registration system. when it finally failed, Workday.

whatever you're picturing it's much worse

My sweet summer child. It's eaten our entire course registration process.

I teach a course on history of police and prisons in Britain and the US, to a mix of history and criminal justice majors.

So the Washington Post fired Karen Attiah—a Black woman—for doing nothing more than quoting Charlie Kirk's words about Black women?

Is that what I'm understanding here?
