I'm in the Niger Delta and I just watched a man who had to abandon his home because his family members were dying one after the other from diseases caused by oil pollution pull crude oil from the water well outside his old house.

Why are you organising with people like this?

Everything should be on the table for discussion as we move forward, but a plea, this must be open, fraternal and comradely — no heresy hunting, no deplatforming, none of that intolerance that has driven so many people, particularly women campaigning for their sex-based rights, away from the existing left.

Got my flu jab today and half- heartedly said "I'd love a covid jab too, but I don't qualify this year," and the nurse commiserated and said, "No one agrees with the decision". Really hope HC professional bodies are feeding back.
But I doubt JCVI will listen.

As a biologist, It really is a great analogy. Also trees. It's like saying, "There are trees and grass, you have to be one or the other." Ok... where is the line that defines "is a tree?" what about bush-like grasses? Palm trees? NON-tree palms? What about horsetails and their tree-like ancestors?
