the fastest way to kill motivation is to make your identity depend on the outcome. it's called ego involvement. when failing becomes failing as a person, your brain starts avoiding the whole thing. not because you don't care, but because you care too much.

you don't need lower standards. you need less self-worth tangled up in your goals. the work gets easier when it's not about proving who you are.

i dont think i'll be streaming as i think the pressure of having to do it often is getting to me
i find that i feel very pressured to be online a lot and truly it is *not* good for my mental health
i want to make things and show them, but at the same time its too much--

i had something sudden and personal happen last week and i still feel a little weird
trying to keep active and work on my comms like normal, but the entire end of last week got screwed up for me so i ended up getting a little behind
i have the next couple of the days off, so i'll be working--
