Ran out of letters ... 40-50F/4-10C is probably the 'cold' average for most of the coldest months Dec-March

It's pretty mild for the most part but inconsistent. I'd say December is when temps average 60F/15C and any freeze usually takes place in Jan. or Feb. It's usually only for a day or two but we had a crazy 2-week freeze in 2021. Lost water and power across much of the state. It got down to 13F/10C!

Hello #GardensHour! I'm Andrea, and most of my plants are potted succulents. It's finally going to be less than 90F/32C for the next week or so here in Houston, so looking forward to getting a lot of plant chores done! 🌱

It's still super hot here in Houston but there's a wee bit of hope it will start to cool down after mid-month. It's a great time of year in my garden to watch some new fall growth in my #succulents, like the new leaves on this fuzzy Kalanchoe bahiensis 'Maltese Cross'
