That zoos have overlooked these business opportunities for centuries is both disappointing and surprising.

Yeah, and the hyenas don't seem to have that problem. I'm going to stick with the zoo.

I learned the fundamentals of this when 30 years ago. My mother was somewhat reticent to travel to Africa with my father for some safaris. She survived

That was when I first began to have doubts about my father.

In this case, masking means pretending to be normal. It's very difficult and draining. I did it without knowing I was doing it for 57 years. And I'm done being someone else. I'm just going to be me.

It's the neurodiversity equivalent of coming out of the closet when you unmask. Freeing but hard.
