There is also an Amazonian giant centipede whose bite is known to be the most painful insect bite in the verse, who gets upset at people eating hash browns.

You can either stay in the room and suffocate, or eat your way up the chute, risking pissing off the centipede and getting bit really badly.

The room you're in has only one exit, which is the chute leading into it. However, the chute has been stuffed with hash browns, cutting off oxygen to the room and your only escape.
