Man, this puts into words what I've been struggling to convey for a long time. Why we can talk about films and TV shows but hearing about someone's dreams seem fatuous - because they're not shared experiences, they only have meaning to one.

(Although for real if you can't figure out a way to introduce a mechanic in a way that the player can intuit it without text, it's normally a good sign that it needs to be reworked)

Good lord, I just tried scrolling through the Nextfest games list, and after half an hour of scrolling I didn't even get to the end of it. There's so much stuff now!

But yeah, it's definitely not a spit-and-polish job, they've definitely gone right back to the foundations and rebuilt a lot of the game from the ground up. It's now finally the game I wanted to play in the beginning.
