Is hell a place or is hell within us as doubt and uncertainty of never knowing the truth but having to create our own? Everyone has a different answer but you’ll never know which is the truth, the pain of uncertainty is within religion and human nature. We may never have the truth we seek.

Perhaps hell isn’t a place of fire in an endless pit but the seed of eternal doubt that lays within all of us, seeking answers but only getting questions. Wanting to know more than what we were meant to. Reaching past the stars in hopes to find the truth that will never find.

A faith led on blind faith that punishes its followers when they question anything. Easily controlled. Easily led away where they’ve tried to desperately escape.

Belief led by fear of eternal punishment in hell. It was burned into me as a kid into adulthood that questioning too much meant straying away.

Taught enough to know the basics but not taught enough to thrive as we should. Some will never break the cycle while others will. I urge you to learn all you can through the very books they want you to forget about. Books hold power, they just rather you never know that.

America revised its own history to make itself look better and fed that water down history to its children who then grow up to be adults and the cycle continues. People don’t look outside what school taught them because they felt it was already taught to them. We naively follow their lead.

America I believe purposefully undereducates us so we are too ignorant to use the knowledge we were taught against the system. Knowledge is power. Just like how they didn’t want slaves to know how to read or write they don’t want us to know too much because we can turn against them.

Also this system is built to benefit them if they admit racism exist then that means admitting the flaws in the very system that gives them privilege. It’s easier to pretend it doesn’t exist to protect white comfort. It’s like “Yeah that sucks for you but I’m doing fine”

They don’t know the pain of racism because they don’t face it. It’s like a having a toothache, you take meds and the pain goes away. When you have no pain you don’t think about it. They don’t think about racism because they never had to do when they’re faced with it they’re defensive

A hard shift like that doesn’t come overnight she likely already had these views deep down but she came across the people who brought it out of here. Sometimes it’s hard to see someone for who they are not when we wanted them to be.

I love it. I actually really do. I want to incorporate some of these inspiration in my art especially queer and overall LGBTQ+ my brother came out and I want to draw him something to show my support.
