It's really sad how much attention has been given to the federal workforce and zero attention given to fed contractors. Contractors on average are 2:1 with fed employees. We have no severance, little legal protection, little job security, and lower pay. No private sector is snapping up contractors.

The stats are based on paperwork, the paperwork is based on arrests, the arrests haven't been happening so there's no paperwork, no stats... Sounds like crime is down

The editors of the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) were apparently fired today.

The precursor to MMWR began in 1878 to address emerging public health threats rapidly.

We are not “great” without it. We are vulnerable to threats from sporadic foodborne illness to bioterrorism.

At the end of the day, the Republican message is that some MORE people do not deserve healthcare. We already deny people in this country a right to their healthcare and thus their health. Dems want LESS people kicked off of healthcare. Few fight for ALL to have access to care in this country.
