Roanoke is such a beautiful part of Virginia. Graduated from Virginia Tech so I love the area. Got an Airbnb in Roanoke for a long weekend a while ago & really enjoyed it. Keep meaning to go back.

Gotta love a listserv thread where they blame Justin for the current tree destruction at George Mason & then imply he’ll do the same at NoVA Parks. No acknowledgment that these same people were just as certain that Justin’s next job was to make bank working for a developer…

No need to be sad! I live alone & truly love it (yes, even as an extrovert). And yup, I’ve been in that situation where I’ve realized I need help with clothes. There are pros & cons to not having live in people to help. Just as there are pros & cons to having them! 😉

Bright colors work too! I bought a set of Fiestaware dishes (yellow, orange, blue & green) after my divorce in 2013 & they still make me happy every day.

I have 2 cats and am watching my son’s cat. All are chipped but none have collars. Got out of the collar habit with my previous cats as both hated them so didn’t really try with these guys. If any were escape artists, I might but they are pretty content indoors so I don’t worry too much.

Some of these google street view photos of post offices aren’t great - poorly framed, blocked by cars. Some don’t even include a building.
