I have friends who went to a film festival who only got away with it by the skin of their teeth. Covid ripped through the festival. Who's going to end up disabled? Do you want to keep rolling that die over and over???

I cannot tell you how many people I know who are "just a little tired" and don't know it's clinical fatigue. Who get "a little dizzy" standing up. Who are having more trouble remembering things. Get covid again and again and again, it can keep getting worse until you can't work.

I used to run long distances. Got the hardware to prove it.

Sure, I'm afraid of getting covid again, but I'm more afraid of the entire country being fucked up because we refuse to acknowledge it.

Anyone who thinks that I wish more people would mask because of "unfounded fear" is kindly invited to go fuck themselves.

I spent several nights, when I was first sick (March/April 2020) struggling to breathe, knowing that if I went to the ER for help I would most likely die.

My legal family name has a vowel-e pattern that is commonly written in German with an umlaut. Other folks with the same name lost the umlaut but did not gain an E (a misspelling in German). It's hard to say who made that choice!
