Don't worry about if you know how to write if something inside you is percolating to be expressed. You don't have to be Paul McCartney to enjoy playing the guitar and making meaningful contributions to the lives of people you may never even meet. And don't write for praise. Write to write.

i was teaching class the other day and told a student to “hit the escape key” and all the other students said “ESCAPE KEY???” like its a magic item to search for in a video game and so now i am an old person

1/2: This has been pointed out elsewhere, but, with two small exceptions, every starting QB for the Oklahoma Sooners from 2015-2023 will be starting in the NFL this weekend: Baker/Kyler/Jalen/Spencer/Caleb/Dillon.
