This philosophy has kept me blogging for well over a decade. Every so often I get the urge to share something through writing, so I write a new blog post. Self-expression is the point, not the views/likes/etc.
Don't worry about if you know how to write if something inside you is percolating to be expressed. You don't have to be Paul McCartney to enjoy playing the guitar and making meaningful contributions to the lives of people you may never even meet. And don't write for praise. Write to write.
Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat

The first couple of playoff rounds in just about any sport are so much fun, because there are so many games!
This is a pretty good interview with John Van Auken that covers many topics related to Edgar Cayce.

John has worked for the A.R.E. (the Edgar Cayce organization) for decades and is an expert in the Cayce readings.

Congrats on yet another successful kickstarter!
I was not expecting a "Lord of the Rings" quote in this article, but it's a good one.

2/2: Those exceptions: Kyler missed one start for disciplinary reasons (Austin Kendall started that game), and Dillon missed one start due to concussion (Davis Beville started that game).
1/2: This has been pointed out elsewhere, but, with two small exceptions, every starting QB for the Oklahoma Sooners from 2015-2023 will be starting in the NFL this weekend: Baker/Kyler/Jalen/Spencer/Caleb/Dillon.
That book is going on my reading list.
Glad to see another user of Inoreader here. I find it very useful, and just used it to subscribe to your website (which I found by way of @tannerfboyle.bsky.social's substack).
This book will be at the top of my reading list come Oct 7. It sounds awesome.

"There (were) 6,000 Great Lakes shipwrecks between 1875 and 1975, one a week on average; 30,000 men and women drowned. That’s one a day for 100 years. That’s how dangerous these lakes are."

50 years after Edmund Fitzgerald, Michigan author explores its mystery, legend - Bridge Michigan
Author John U. Bacon’s forthcoming book about the Great Lakes’ most famous shipwreck concludes that many factors ‘came together at exactly the wrong place and the wrong time’ to doom the freighter.

Nice work. It would be interesting to see that chart split out by male and female players.
Thank you for the reply! That's good to know. I've had the extension disabled ever since it requested the new permission, and I've discovered just how much I rely on it. Looking forward to the new update being approved.
@inoreader.com Why does the latest version of your Chrome extension request access to the browsing history?
Tom Brady says you can trust him to be an ethical TV analyst and partial NFL owner. And if you don't, you're a selfish, paranoid, distrustful person, as well as a horrible teammate.

There's a dang Rapture predicted for today, so a good of time as any to remind you I wrote a book titled APOCALYPSE ANY DAY NOW (2019, Chicago Review Press). Great item for your bunker bookshelf: teakrulos.com/apocalypse-a...
I'm sure this will all change dramatically as OU gets deeper into conference play, but, for now, ❤️ to this whole 🧵.
Oklahoma is now fourth in the nation and first in the SEC in net punting (47.27 net yards per punt), while Sooners punter Grayson Miller is leading the nation at 51 yards per punt attempt since taking over the job in Week 2.

I hold fast to the belief that one heart can change the world. That our small, everyday acts of kindness and compassion can ripple out and impact the broader reality.
