They were 100% like this. When I was younger, I was a libertarian. I hung out with GOP types, I even went to a fundraiser for a friend of mine for the GOP national convention delegate in 2008. I was so shocked with the racism re: Obama, I dipped. The bigotry was always there.

For those tempted to say Young Republicans have always been this way, they really have not. When I worked on campus and did bipartisan college events after, they were very much not like this.

That’s why groups like YCT and eventually TPUSA formed — because Young Republicans weren’t radical enough.

IMO the "good part" of the earlier parts of the plot (consumerism critique) get shoved aside for a messy vision that other films... just did better...Taxi Driver... if you just watch the movie you think joining a cult will solve your capitalist whoas.

This is my frustration of working in an industry that is forcing everyone to deal with AI and no one has a clue of what the fuck they are doing. Those that do are running away or trying to rob the bank.
