Something i wish people were critical of is that on paper, yea, communism can be wonderful! But that could be said for many kinds of government. The problem is that it's NEVER as "clean" as people think. There are issues to be addressed in any society.

I am somewhat bothered that every furry niche interest is now regarded solely as a fetish by outsiders.

We need to teach there's a difference between fetishes and fixation, and your excessive interest in a concept/subject/fandom doesn't have to be strictly sexually gratifying for you to enjoy it.
