A redrawn illustration of my first "My Famicase" design, featuring a girl in a hat picking apples with a small monkey. An illustration I did for Japanime Games' 2021 New Year's greeting card, featuring their mascot running under a tori and some fireworks. A custom profile pic for The Yetee, featuring the company mascot dressed up like Marty McFly and looking at his watch in the iconic pose from the movie poster Customized label for a batch of my own homebrew cider, named "Medusa Head," featuring a illustration of a green Medusa with a head full of glaring snakes

Incredible history of one of the greatest games ever made. I just kinda browsed thru it a bit, but really looking forward to jumping into the whole thing later. Excited to see what Design Room has next up their sleeves

For the Shadow of the Colossus story, we interviewed 14 people including project leads Fumito Ueda and Kenji Kaido, hired Gravity Rush concept artist Takeshi Oga to illustrate the cover, and put together a 10,000-word story with help from @milkman.bsky.social @shmuplations.bsky.social and others.

Ye, if you're vibing with it 2-3 hrs in, I say it's worth sticking with for SURE. Just be a lil patient as combat ramps up more-- it's more plodding/retro than stuff like RE4 or SH2R. If you're not careful, it will push you quite a bit

I love classical and the fact Apple Music actually doesn't get confused by that and recommend me lullaby baby music non-stop was reason enough to switch

My blue haired Spooky Gamer feels totally safe in her corner of the Game Center filled with perfectly harmful creatures😈 Pink Link and Zelda from Link to the Past in a tranquil moss covered archway Green haired OC relaxed on the floor w her black cat and favorite tunes on the record player The gang is not all here in this Fatal Fury Mystery Tournament most likely being run in Joe Higashi’s living room, but maybe everyone else is in loser bracket in the kitchen who knows

For real, it was Spielberg and Tom Ruegger at the top of their game developing a production pipeline, writing team and animation language that would literally give us Animaniacs and BTAS immediately after. That the show yielded some amazing episodes is no accident. They dropped Kennedy FAST.

Been seeing a handful of posts lately of people I guess discovering TMS animated some of the best looking episodes of Tiny Toons and the assumption seems to be that it was in spite of the quality of the show to which I wanna remind folks... Tiny Toons *was* a VERY good show

lol people love to complain about his fashion sensibilities but man just IMAGINE how much more interesting this design would be in Nomura's hands

It still was a very weird choice tho how for as fun as Tsushima's stealth and such was, the game spent most of its length telling you how much you sucked for doing any of it. Yotei starts you at a point of already being fargone, so thankfully they tone down the constant judging

My feelings on the experience overall are the same tho-- it's not an "Ubisoft" open world list manager BUT I think your patience for it is gonna be colored by how many giant open world games you take in your diet. I don't really play a lot of em, so it's still exciting/fresh to me

A few beats into Ghost of Yotei and so far everything about the presentation and framing supports the experience of being a wandering samurai so much more organically than the first game. I was a fan of Tsushima but I'm already enjoying Yotei more

Also the durability acts more like an ammo system than something that's intended to make you "improvise" in combat, they aren't exactly throwing weapons at you non stop on your first playthrough.

I get what you're getting at, but after finishing the game I think a LOT of the choices for combat/meters are very intentional narratively to push towards an intended impact, that much I will say. But I'm not a BotW fan, so maybe it just hit me differently

I found that feeling hit me in what was definitely the concluding beats of the game. It's a real trip and you're in for some serious fun

Baseball really is the best sport because all it takes is one little bobble and suddenly a game built on routine and order devolves into panic and chaos
