Failing that, look for ways to simplify and streamline your processes and new marketing angles to explore.

As a business ops consultant that also has 25+ years of experience a furry publisher, I'm happy to give whatever advice I can to help. No strings! No sales! Just reach out!

It's also hard for consultants, coaches, and service providers. Pretty much anyone serving individuals and small businesses.

The best thing you can do right now is start figuring out parallel things you can do. Got a skill someone else might want? Can you make an education product out of it?
Your art isn’t bad just because it’s not selling right now.

We’re in a recession and people don’t know when they’re gonna eat next, nobody can afford fun things because the economy is crumbling. It’s going to be hard a while.

Happy Halloween.

Let's talk about the scariest thing in your career: the fear that stops you from starting.

Not spooky ghosts. The real fear that causes procrastination.

In my experience, this breaks down into two types: Intimidation & Discouragement

Update on the job front! A colleague did a big broadcast to her email list, and now I have meetings this week with a community advertising magazine publisher, a national HVAC marketing coordinator, and (potentially) a public speaking coach.

From wildly ambitious projects to the daily grind, I take away the stuff in your way so that you can focus on the things that only you can do.

I'm sort of a plug-and-play team member who fits your pace, your budget, and your process.

If you, or someone you know, might need any of this, hit me up!

Think of me a bit like an Executive Assistant +

I'm equal parts strategic and tactical. I don't just DO THE THINGS you know need done, but point out things you may be missing or could be tweaked to work better for you.

Best of all, I speak the language of makers and creators.

And Neurodivergents.

Weekly reminder that I am looking for work!

In the corporate sphere I do Customer Success and Enablement, but everywhere else I am essentially a Business Border Collie.

If you have things that need doing which you are too busy to get done (or just hate doing) then I may be your huckleberry.

The next couple months are looking dire financially, so I am putting out a call for freelance work.

1) My corporate background is customer operations: success, enablement, and engagement.

2) I also do technical writing, course & certification design, and instructional material creation.

Another funny tidbit... We got some flack from now-unremembered individuals for having an "explicit cover," which I pointed out was actually LESS so than the Power Station album cover on which it was based (nipples vs nippless).
It's never too late to get a good joke. 😀
Couldn't record it, sadly, but will be re-doing it for online consumption.
Doing a panel on The Furry Creator Economy today at Furry Migration - 2pm in Greenway J.

I'll be going over some of the early findings from the Furry Creator Economy Survey and talking about strategies for business resilience in these loopy (sadly not loupey) times.

Every day gives us the opportunity to take a step towards where we want to be tomorrow.

As any hiker will tell you, big steps cover a lot of ground quickly, but wear you out. Seasoned hikers know it's a lot more sustainable to take little steps and enjoy the scenery.

Enjoy the path to your goals.
