This map shows severe flooding in Bang Rakam as of October 2025

With water levels higher than in 2024 and expected to continue into November, it highlights how long-term flooding forced some villagers to evacuate and made daily life difficult.

🔥 Etosha National Park Wildfire, Namibia Sept-Oct 2025

Over 34% of the park (~775,000 ha) burned, sparked near farms on the border.
500+ responders fought the blaze as wildlife and grazing lands were hit.

When examining satellite imagery, certain filters you might not expect, like "Algae Detection" can help bring out contrast, making visible the extent of scorched and damaged areas.
