I’m proud to support Callum because I've seen first-hand his dedication to our party, and our ultimate goal: Independence.

Having worked with Callum for a number of years, both in our capacities as equalities officers for the party and also the work we have done together for Out for Independence on LGBTQIA+ issues, I know how much energy, focus and skills Callum brings to our party. I've seen the dedicated activist base that Callum can bring to our constituency, particularly young activists.

My biggest fear is, due to growing wealth inequality driving down living standards, we will see a right-wing, reactionary Scottish Parliament next year. People are losing faith in politicians whose words are not reflected by their actions, guilty of only paying lip service to the working class and the vulnerable.

We need a candidate that has integrity and will rebuild political trust here in Falkirk. The last thing we need is another career politician who knows how to say all the right things but does nothing to improve living standards and public services.
