The govt promised it would help all Palestinian students with funded places at British universities get to the UK - but there are students with places at the University of Bristol who the Home Office is refusing to help.

Devastatingly we don't know if they are all still alive.

The PS2 truly is the best console ever because it is constantly becoming more powerful. Each time we say something "looks like a PS2 game" we're talking about a game of a higher fidelity than the last. What the PS2 is capable of in 2025 is so far beyond what it was capable of in 2003. Within the short time i got to know and be with her in and outside of the community, she became one of the best friends i've ever had.

I will forever be grateful for what she did to the game, the community, myself and her friends.

this situation has been such a stark reminder of how fickle life can be. i spoke with shine a day before she passed, i had no idea what was happening, then i just woke up one day and she was gone. im not unfamiliar with this feeling, but familiarity is not morphine. it still hurts like hell

shine was an amazing person who helped me and so many other people feel welcomed and respected in the frontiers community. she was so kind and passionate and she taught me so much. i was going to meet her at finnruns in January, it would've been really fun. tell your friends you love them, please.
