Feels like I'm back to bloody Windows Vista again sometimes.

Has Windows 11 always had bloody lag in file explorer?

Never had this problem before in Windows 10

It's not like Trump will detonate a nuclear bomb in a US city just to postpone the election...

Then again...

The longer the Republicans keep things shut down, the more losses they're going to get in 2026.

That'll be the year when things get released.

Windows 10 goes out of support today. My fave useless fact about w10 is that the iconic blue desktop background is a *photograph* - not CGI.

Tiny 'making of' vid here - youtu.be/_2RacX9DgWM...
Three images showing photographers in a studio, standing around a black curtained area with a projector and a 'Windows' logo etched onto a glass pane. The lower image shows a version of the iconic blue windows background, with blue lasers outlining and passing through an angled Windows logos against a dark background.

Things that US$1 trillion can pay for.

1. Free medical care
2. All student debts
3. Free school meals for kids
4. Update textbooks in all schools, pencils, pens, computers....
5. Hire all the lawyers to kick Republicans out.
6. Universal Basic Income
7. Anything else than some slopware server farm.

People probably get more enjoyment from 'Alubephabet', the new lube with edible letters. Slurp them about on a belly to make words...

Anything but talk to a massive warehouse full of servers.
skipai.bsky.social
Or $1 trillion would fund actual free medical care for decades...

But no, digital slop.

OpenAI has pledged to spend $1 trillion in the next five years.

The awesome @joabaldwin.com commissioned me to draw his characters Banook and Sterjall from the #NossSaga! This painting taught me a lot, and what a joy Joaquín is to work with ☺️ Thank you a million times!!🌻
Illustration created for the book series called The Noss Saga. Pictured are a bear with golden fur, cradling a dark anthropomorphic wolf on his lap. It is nighttime and they are outside, sitting in front of a campfire. They look happy and relaxed.

I need to actually play critter cove, did buy it.

It was ripe to bring in such lifestyle with lockdown and all.

Lessen the amount of sick days used.
Increased sales of face masks
A huge amount of hours lost due to workers being sick.

And yet... The world's elite chose the other path... Completely bonkers really.
skipai.bsky.social
And if you get to make said facemasks.

That's a massive income right there.

So yeah, billionaires in the US are idiots.
skipai.bsky.social
Seriously, less germs being spread means less days lost to just the basic cold/flu season, never mind covid and other respiratory viruses.

It's like billionaires want to throw away money.

4. This anti-face mask thing is actually costing billionaires $billions of loss of potential income a year.

But do go ahead funding politicians that don't want to do a medical face mask agenda.
skipai.bsky.social
I am surprised the rich in the US are pushing this anti-mask thing though.

1. Wearing a mask if your starting to feel ill and during your illness reduces spread of said illness.
2. Which leads to less sick days being used.
3. Less loss of business hours done.

But how can they get voters who'll fall for their lies when they have damaged brains from repeated infections?

I think we should just cough on them and go. "I got ebola."
skipai.bsky.social
Seriously, took me a second to think of that.

Like to see slopware do it. :p

And now I got a image in my head of another world that had navy battles but a battleship had waterslides that exit is on the side of the boat as otters zoom out really fast to hit or fly over said enemy ship to drop explosives. But moving so fast they can't shoot at them.

*writes that idea down*

Not our fault they're like particle accelerators to us.

The Gaza thing helped Putin really as Trump can't keep up with too many things going on at once or his admin.
skipai.bsky.social
Yeah, I think that has made them pay more attention, one issue at a time government so that'll be a loss there for Russia now.
skipai.bsky.social
Otters get whiplash every time they go to a waterslide but staff are fast to react and use a hook to yank us back before we vanish into the zoom-zoom tube.

I don't know but I know Seth does it from time to time in Family Guy (Needs a pie to the face for that, jokingly) but also Blizzard has done it for some of the races (Worgen) and I can't play them as the accent is just so... Ugh.
