finished my thing :} wips in replies
restored cabinet thingy. it's painted magenta-ish and yellow (it's more purply irl but the camera doesn't pick it up too well) with bronze hardware. there's an engraved painted design with flowers and lizards close up of the engraving. the lizards have inset garnet beads for eyes :} in context with the other decor in this part of the room
why garnets? because the real lizards these are loosely based on (Phelsuma spp.) have eyes like this
thanks friend ^^;
for the garnet eyes, I put a length of wire through the hole in the bead, twisted it into a little "optic nerve," drilled out a hemisphere with a little hole in the middle using the dremel and a very tiny drill bit, piped some epoxy in, then inserted the bead. can't imagine it'll fall out too easily
I reckon I'm getting pretty handy with the dremel :3
narsty old 15e thing from the flea market. the left cabinet door was missing so I filled in the hinge cutouts and made it an open shelf. I think I prefer it that way!

I did a million other things too, lots of sanding, gluing, clamping, redoing a previous "restoration," in short it was tons of work

The spouse got laid off and I'm looking for work. Anyone got a hookup for a former animation director with an apocalyptic knowledge of Illustrator, basic Indesign and Photoshop?

Or maybe one of the editors you work with would love to see a graphic novel or Tarot deck by a trans lady? Ping me.
also hi, been a weird month but I think I'm back
Finnish lotr goes insanely hard

It’s almost the best time of year for jogs! Lovely jog girl by @rayjay.bsky.social
Girl version of my sona on a jog, with a huffing concentrating expression. She’s in black sports bra and shorts with teal trim (she was happy that she found one that matches her fur color). She’s running down a dirt path with grass and trees in the background

i did start a drawing of lonnie per @magicalspiritwolf.bsky.social ‘s suggestion, tied up with a milking machine 👼

#yiff #wip
a trans anthro wolf furry (lonnie) duct taped to a chair as a milking machine milks his knotted cock. he’s grimacing hardcore. he looks like he’s making sounds of protest, but he’s mute, so he can’t.

sex toy making updates will be over there from now on!
reminds me of one of my favorite Alan Watts lectures www.organism.earth/library/docu...
... We expect, for example, that time is going to solve our problems, that there’s going to come a day in the future when we will be finally satisfied. And so things make sense—we say of something “it is sensible,” “it is satisfactory,” “it is good,” because we feel it has a future, it’s going to get somewhere, and we’re going to arrive. Our whole education is programmed with the idea that there is a good time coming, when we are going to arrive, we’re going to be there. When you’re a child, you see, you’re not here yet. You’re treated as a merely probationary human being. And they get you involved in this system where you go up step by step through the various grades. When you get out of college you go up step by step through the various grades of business, or your profession, or whatever it is. Always with the thought that the thing is ahead of you. See? It’s going to make sense. And perhaps the universe doesn’t work that way at all. Maybe, instead of that, this world is like music, where the goal of music is certainly not in the future. You don’t play a symphony in order to reach the end of the symphony. Because then the best orchestra would be the one that played the fastest. You don’t dance in order to arrive at a particular place on the floor. ...
