OK, I'm gonna do this, but screw the "likes for answers" thing because I just wanna answer everything, and I'm not gonna be beholden to some silly restriction like that. :D :P

That said, I'm not gonna answer everything at once! The thread'll grow at my own pace as I have time and inclination. :)
That feeling when I'm going through my binders of Magic cards, pulling cards out as I begin to build a new deck, and realize just how many I've grabbed...

I can feel the cuts coming already. 😭
I'm most excited to see the new story and learn what's going on!

Oh, wait, did you mean locations? I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing how the new Homestead map works.

Though, honestly, your environment artists rock at their jobs, so I know everywhere will be beautiful in its own way. :D
I hope next semester is less intense for you. I know this one has been extraordinarily busy.
They really are. Aspen groves are so pretty. :D
I'd like hybrid to be opened up so either is allowed (e.g. Kitchen Finks in mono-white).
I haven't been to Colorado in the autumn often, but I've really loved the golden aspen when I have!

#DnD advice: Can't do character voices? Get a bunch of helium balloons and inhale one each time you have to talk.

Please do read!
I know it's rather long - but really important!
Are we living in a golden age of stupidity?
From brain-rotting videos to AI creep, every technological advance seems to make it harder to work, remember, think and function independently …

I enjoyed being part of screwing up your sleep schedule. :)

Parallel Experiment was a fun time. ^_^

Why does online content seem so angry and emotional? Professors @jayvanbavel.bsky.social and @steverathje.bsky.social join andrewyang.com/podcast to talk the science of social media including why polarization gets revved up by a tiny percentage of accounts.
Fun fact: Spider-Ham affects Lizards!
I enjoyed the whimsy of this one.
A final thought is that I hope ANet can get Felicia Day back in the recording booth. I want more Zojja!
Regardless, I overall quite enjoyed revisiting SotO's story. It was nice to see it again!

I do think the pacing gets a little wonky on replay due to the narrative accounting for the real-world time skips between parts being released, but that's a hard problem to solve, if it even can be.
Like, the conflict was a slog narratively, so in some regards, it should take at least a little time to play through.

I am reminded of the Befriending the Kurzicks/Luxons from Guild Wars: Factions, where you have to get 10k faction however you want. Though, that was maybe too open-ended.
It can be annoying to have to go chasing down events to progress the story, but on the other hand, it helps integrate the open world with the personal story, and I do like that. It also is a way for ArenaNet to more naturally integrate the sense of the war that SotO is primarily about.
One thing that did really stand out to me is that there are a lot of sections that want you to do events. Sometimes it's rifts, sometimes it's events in specific regions of maps, sometimes it's just events in general. Regardless, it came up a lot. I have mixed feelings on that.
It was interesting to play SotO again. One of the big differences is that I was familiar with all of the proper nouns the first time they came up. It was cool to re-experience the story having a fuller sense of the greater context. I do like that it was written such that that happens.
I finished replaying #GuildWars2 Secrets of the Obscure today. I'd played it as it came out, but I hadn't replayed it since until recently. (The timing was somewhat coincidental, but I did want to replay Janthir Wilds to see how the pacing feels with it all out, and now VoE is coming soon.)
Twix are really good, though my favorite candy is Peach Rings.

I'm also quite fond of Jelly Belly jelly beans. I like the variety of flavors.
You can tell I'm an adult because I just ate cheese sticks and grapes for lunch. 😋
Yup! The Leaning Tower of Pisa was a lot smaller than I expected, and it was amazing to be in the Coliseum in Rome. The sense of history in Europe is incredible.
Balance should be unbanned in Commander and made into a Game Changer.

It's just such a good way to rein in decks that are going wild. Like, yes, you can build around it to make it especially brutal, but you really don't need to!
