I spent far too long trying to figure out what hipster bar was called VIEϤO before I realized it was a reflection, and also that I'm a moron.

Dig two graves? Really? I'm killing way more than two people, idiot.

Trump: They have a little thing called the Potomac River where the basement is. They said we're gonna get it done, so you build what's called a Reverse Bathtub. It's something you only do in emergency.

Insults from the Belt of Orion, new combinations of slurs glittering against the Tannhauser Gate
All this hate speech, lost... like hard-Rs in the rain.

was at Michael's today and they had ALREADY marked down Halloween stuff to 50% off and started filling up the aisles with Christmas decorations.

Goths, Thanksgiving has already fallen. We must HOLD THE LINE on spooky season. We know Labor Day will not survive XMas's assault.

The PS3 launched with a pricetag fully 150% of the 360 and Sony had the belief they were entitled to win the console war that generation since the PS2 absolutely *rinsed* the XBox last gen.

If the PS3 wasn't also a blu-ray player it's likely it would have done even worse.

fuck the lazy "what are some good #horror movies" posts. Show me your 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑠. What's your "top 4" horror list look like when you sort by popularity and go to the end? What'd you turn up digging in the crates?

Just watched BONES for #spooktober #horror and I gotta say... it's pretty good! Just a thousand-and-one cool-ass visuals and monster designs and gore gags and a pretty somber story of loss and revenge. Snoop is pretty good, too!

Another data point that Ernest Dickerson deserved a lot better.

"You're luggage!" when he shoots the alligator in ERASER remains the best one-liner of all time

•No other context for the phrase

•Said to animal with a brain the size of a peanut who cannot understand him

•Already murdered everyone else within earshot so there's no one to appreciate the bon môt

Honestly I don't know how anyone can read THE AUTHORITY and then honestly engage with reactionary, "don't-rock-the-boat-even-though-we're-gods" comic writing.

The realization that suffering exists because you allow it, and then doing nothing, is a withering indictment of Marvel and DC

I would also like a list of the people with guns! This is not a blurry line.

Like, a list of gay people would be bad. Being gay never hurt anyone. A list of "people who can set buildings on fire with their mind," that's probably a list worth making!

as a mandrake enthusiast, it's really frustrating that we haven't gotten a decent theatrical DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS movie ever.
