It’s been 49 years Aaron, what’s one more I guess? Still … 8 outs away. Welcome to being a Seattle sports fan.
Mariners are so close. Sign Naylor. Get a RF and make a decision on 2B. Focus on finding scrappy hitters who can extend innings and run this back with a healthy pitching staff.

They are so close.

But this stings. And will for a really long time.
The ALCS series is not over, but this Mariners team needs to find a consistent doubles hitter who can help string hits along and extend innings next year. The dependency on the home run takes us as far as this and we are a consistent, scrappy hitter away from being the team we think we have.
I don’t always buy the east coast/west coast bias but post-game coverage of the Blue Jays win is so vastly different than what the Mariners got.

Slow-motion video montages of Vlad and of HRs and runs scored, while the Ms got some interviews and the experts saying “wow, what happened?!”. 🤔🤨🧐
Hey baseball world.

We tried to tell you. 🙂

Dwayne Johnson gives his all to a movie less about brawling and MMA and more about his character's internal struggles.

His Oscar buzz is legitimate. However, with THE SMASHING MACHINE, has a movie ever been this afraid of its own shadow?

Now playing everywhere.

All five stars go to Paul Thomas Anderson's ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER - a defining film of not just 2025, but also the decade.

Now playing everywhere. Messy and brilliant and anxious and tense and funny - a masterclass in storytelling, performance, and craftsmanship.

Cal hits 60. The AL West is won for the first time since 2001. A first-round bye is almost clinched.

And ironically, the Astros lost 6-0 tonight.

You gotta love these guys.

HIM isn’t the GOAT, a Hall of Famer, or someone with a solid career - it’s a bust … a high-profile draft pick, with all the expectations from a rabid fan base, that makes so many errors and mistakes you can’t bench HIM fast enough.

Seeing this right before the week spiraled out of control, I felt like DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE was, at the time, a palette cleanser of a film - that still holds true, even if it’s a bit weird to write and talk about movies right now.

Austin Butler leads Darren Aronofsky’s comedic crime caper CAUGHT STEALING, a gritty, grimy tale that has a lot of villains and bad guys swirling around, but is also kind of about how a man and his cat are not easily separated.

Coltrane. Brubeck. Shorter.

Welcome to the collection.
Very niche complaint - but just had that moment when you are in school, taking a course you really enjoy, and then the latest lesson is framed around a "hack" of an expert, who has made a fortune off of people selling his grocery store aisle checkout stand examples of "leadership 101."
