How Nature Works

I believe this butterfly is a Variegated Fritillary (Euptoieta claudia), weaving its way among a patch of Skyblue Asters (Symphyotrichum oolentangiense). ...

"A vibrant butterfly, patterned in bold orange and black, rests with wings fully open atop a cluster of white daisies. The petals are crisp and delicate, each flower crowned with a bright yellow center that glows in the sunlight. The butterfly’s wings are intricately marked—black veins and spots tracing through the orange like ceremonial script—while its body is slender and dark, poised in quiet balance.

The daisies rise from a textured field of green and brown, softly blurred in the background, suggesting grasses and wild vegetation swaying just beyond focus. The lighting is bright and natural, casting gentle highlights across the butterfly’s wings and the daisy petals, as if the scene itself is basking in a moment of quiet celebration.

The composition feels intimate and serene—a fleeting alliance between flower and insect, captured in perfect stillness. In the bottom right corner, the image bears the signature “© Swede’s Photography,” marking it as part of a sovereign archive of nature’s quiet rituals." - Microsoft Copilot

Good morning Blusky friends

Ruby said “Happy Wednesday”

Winter is here and that means we roll in the snow!

Golden Retriever
Ruby the golden retriever having what can only be described as her personal snow-day masterpiece. She’s sprawled out joyfully in a fluffy white field, nose and whiskers completely dusted in snow, wearing an expression that says, “I regret nothing.” The sun glints off her golden fur.

The snow around her is cratered and tossed like a bakery explosion, proof of an epic roll-fest.

She’s a golden retriever snow angel in action—equal parts athlete, comedian, and connoisseur of mischief.

Clouds that are up high
Move into transition
Breathe life into the day

These trees will have to learn
Lost in translation
How to hold on to the day

Days like thunder change
In nature its a behaviour
You are going to feel the flame
