I moved from Austin TX to Minneapolis this year.

One cool thing was my work schedule was going to follow the home office, in AZ time. I'd stay 9-6 DST central, then be 8-5 in winter.

However work changed their mind so I no longer will get done with work when it's still kinda light out. 😬🧛🏻

Dude I'm 50. I feel the same.

Someone in their 30s will chat me on the apps and get along in chat a while and age comes up and suddenly they turn into 👻s.

(All that chat even when I 100% SHOW my age on all apps. 😄)

Not claiming I'm well adjusted. But stuff like that works for me. I need to do more of it.

I likely would have an extremely different life had I gone to therapy etc many years ago. For the better or worse I couldn't fathom.

Kinda hurts my brain wondering the myriad ways I'd differ from myself now!

A good walk/bike/drive.

Getting out of my apartment to literally distract my brain from all the worry it conjures up is important to me.

I can concern myself with surviving sun, air, rain, bugs & the most dangerous thing of all, humans.

Age doesn't matter to me much if I get along with someone:

• I have good friends around my age & even mid 30s.
• at 21 I lost my virginity to a 32yo. I didn't think he was old.
• my last boyfriend is almost 10 years younger.
• after moving to the cities, I hooked up with a guy 13 years younger.

Woke twice tonight from two separate dreams, yelling at guys who broke into my bedroom through the window.

My real bedroom has no windows. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Both yells were good deterrents and woke me. Both guys escaped with their lives. 😄

I get that caution! In the early internet days, a guy drove 3 hours to my hometown, uninvited.

He figured which building I lived & even which windows from my pictures.

He yelled up to my apt, so I snuck out the alley fire escape & over to a theater for The Long Kiss Goodnight. 😆
