Seriously so.
I used to live near a gourmet muffin shop. All of the teens in the neighborhood worked there. The owner would toss out all of the unsold muffins at closing. One of the kids asked if she could bring a few home. The owner said no. I never spent another dime in there and I never will.

There is a meeting at the food pantry Wednesday morning. I'll bring this up. I'm betting that there is a permit to obtain as well as wiring into the town's electrical system. And then there's the issue of obtaining refrigerators. We'll see where this goes.

No one stops to think how many active military personnel rely on these benefits. And they really shouldn't have to.
Since retiring, one of my main sreas of focus has been on bringing wage inequity to light and working on ways to eliminate it. It will take 2 lifetimes.

Thank you and your HOA for doing that. The 2 biggest food pantries here are asking for cash donations. They can buy what they need in bulk getting it for less. But, I agree. At this point, anything is welcome.

And we know for a fact that many military families rely on SNAP benefits. How about paying people a living wage?
