Izumi Takano was actually supposed to be what Nozomi was going to be in Shenmue 1 but they ended up going with Nozomi as we know her now. Izumi Takano was eventually saved for Shenmue 2 and that was the right choice in the end.

The Shenmue tree in front of Shenhua's house in Shenmue 3 has such a great view and has such an entrancing vibe to it that Ryo sees that it reminds him of the cherry blossom tree back home in Japan. It's the namesake of the series after all.

In the Hazuki Residence, a butsudan/altar room can be visited throughout Shenmue 1 and Ryo will pray and talk to his father about what he's doing in certain parts of the story. most players most likely miss this.

For this #SaturdaySnapshot, we're going on an evening stroll through Golden Qr. It's kind of amazing that Ryo wasn't completely overwhelmed by Wan Chai's sights and sounds, having grown up in cosy Yokosuka. At least there's an arcade and Tomato store to remind him of home!

Eri Tajima is an NPC that most people do not talk to because she only appears in one story cutscene and she's barely mentioned outside of optional conversations with different NPCs if you choose to talk to them.
