What people forget is Melissa Hortman and Charlie Kirk had something in common - Both had the right as U.S. citizens to express their views, even if others strongly disagreed with them. They both should have been able to do so without fear of being harmed.

The is more than a bit dishonest in wording.
The vote was 90-6 vote with only Democrats voting against the bill. Every Republican voted to keep it open, but you don't mention them even once.
