Craig Murray says that Trump Starmer & Macron want to turn the ‘peace deal’ into a UNSCR before the ICJ ruling on Israel's blockade of aid agencies is delivered on 22/10 as that would make invalid the ICJ Opinion comprehensively declaring the occupation illegal and legitimise the Israeli occupation.

Before I get on to that, a word about cookies & tracking.

As much as possible, I refuse tracking. This often means I can't use websites, & always means trawling through panels refusing permissions. This was meant to be simplified by data protection regulations introduced 20 years ago...

News coverage of events in Palestine would better reflect the realities of the situation if any mention of released Israeli hostages were a brief foot or side note on reams of pages devoted to the horrors of genocide meted out on innocent Palestinian victims.

🇵🇸 = No emotive language: 'found dead'
🇮🇱 = Emotive language focuses on size, age, grief

It is a stark difference in treatment by the BBC.

Blanket emotive eulogising about Israeli hostages really underlines the degree to which western leaders & mainstream media devalue the Palestinian lives whose genocide has been treated with distanced, matter-of-fact & mealy-mouthed coverage.
